The Atlantis Protocol: A Shamus O’Malley Adventure

Around 1500 B.C., the legendary island of Atlantis catastrophically disappears. Its only two survivors are awash in the Atlantic Ocean with a special box that contains five scrolls…believed to contain the answers to avert the end of humanity some 3500 years in the future.

Jump to the present, and the O’Riley family of Boston are vacationing in Downpatrick, Northern Island with extended family…the Duffy’s and Michael O’Donnell. While walking the beaches of Tralee, the O’Riley’s two children, Sean and MJ, accidently discover the Atlantis box long-hidden by nature in a cave exposed to the North Atlantic’s tidal surges.

Two oceanographic scientists, Bryce and Ella, return home to Downpatrick after a long mission in the Arctic Circle that sadly confirms the saga of global warming is reaching its peak and will have disastrous effects on Santa’s North Pole, Greenland and Iceland…along with the rest of the planet.

The world’s oceans are the hottest they have ever been causing severe life- threatening consequences for all marine life. Ocean coral and fish species are disappearing at alarming rates. As the heat of the oceans increases… sea levels rise around the globe threatening large population centers.

A group of mermaids living under Antarctica, led by Liki, decide it’s time to end human caused global warming and their footprint on Earth with a series of three cataclysmic world-wide ocean storms. With humanity eliminated global warming will dissipate and the oceans will return to normal…saving all marine life.

Shamus O’Malley and a 200-hundred-year-old leprechaun, the wise Prof G, together with the O’Riley family, the Duffy’s, Michael, Bryce and Ella are in a race against time to decipher the cryptic Atlantis scrolls and save humanity.
