The Spending of a Life’s breath : The Poetry from a life well spent

This book and the journaling and poems provide us with a site of the path Mandy had to take in order to survive a terrible accident. An accident which left her with a Traumatic brain injury and would cost her a lot of who she once was. This all happened during her husbands mid life crises and helped end to their 30 year marriage. Leaving her life as she knew behind she finds herself left to go on to heal or recover alone. She would struggle to somehow get her brain to co-operate so she could continue to work to provide for herself and her family while trying to heal her physical, emotional and mental problems that would take a long recovery. Meanwhile she continues to do her best to raise the last of their children, the three youngest sons ages eleven, thirteen and sixteen. She knew somehow she would need to be strong.
