Perseverance and Contentment: The story of Jeremiah

Biblical fiction account of the life of Jeremiah prior to the razing of Jerusalem. Told in first person from Baruch, a scribe and best friend of Jeremiah, and from Sarah, Baruch’s beloved and subsequently his wife. They recall the good times under King Josiah and the struggles they faced during the reigns of his sons until the Chaldeans routed Jerusalem, razing the walls and temple, and transporting the survivors to Babylon. Though faced with enormous pressure and difficult choices, they remain faithful and find contentment in Adonai and his plans for them.
